SouthsilArmor Valheim 1.0 Compatibility Fix

This is an unofficial preservation patch for southsil's SouthsilArmor 3.1.8 on Valheim 1.0.12.

All armour, models, textures, item design, writing and original code remain southsil's work. This package is not SouthsilArmor, a continuation, or an ownership claim. It requires the original package and contains none of SouthsilArmor's code or assets.

What this package repairs

The small BepInEx preloader patcher makes only the compatibility edits required by Valheim 1.0:

• replaces three obsolete ZRoutedRpc.Everybody field references with Valheim's supported broadcast target;
• updates two Blackmetal recipe identifiers to the live BlackMetal prefab name;
• updates one Yggdrasil recipe identifier to the live YggdrasilWood prefab name;
• moves the compatibility build identity from 3.1.8 to 3.1.8.1 so every peer can be checked against the same repaired assembly.

The patcher accepts only the exact original SouthsilArmor 3.1.8 DLL, identified by SHA-256. It creates an original-file backup, writes through a temporary file, verifies the exact repaired output hash, and refuses unknown or ambiguous installs without modifying them.

Installation

Install this package with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. Its dependency installs the original southsil-SouthsilArmor-3.1.8 package automatically.

Install the same versions on the dedicated server and every joining client. Start the game once and confirm the BepInEx log reports that the guarded SouthsilArmor repair was installed or verified.

Version 1.0.1 resolves the original package's plugin directory from the installed patcher's location, including Thunderstore and r2modman profile launches where the game directory and profile directory are separate.

Removal and official updates

The repair is applied to the installed original DLL before plugins load. To return to the untouched original, remove this compatibility package and reinstall SouthsilArmor 3.1.8 through the mod manager.

If southsil publishes an official Valheim 1.0-compatible release, remove this package and use that release. This package will also be deprecated at southsil's request.
