ChestSizeConfig
Lightweight configurable vanilla and custom container sizing. Buildable chests default to twice their vanilla capacity.Chest Size Config
A lightweight Valheim 1.0 BepInEx mod that does one thing: changes container grid sizes.
Defaults
- All buildable vanilla chests, including the Grausten chest, wardrobe, and barrel:
double - Cart, Karve, Longship, and Drakkar:
vanilla doublepreserves the vanilla number of columns and doubles the rows, giving exactly twice the slots.
Configuration
Launch the game once, then edit:
BepInEx/config/com.triston.chestsizeconfig.cfg
Each container accepts:
double— twice the vanilla slotsvanilla— no size changeWIDTHxROWS— an exact grid, such as8x6
Restart the game after editing the config.
Custom/modded containers can be configured with the Prefab sizes setting:
MyChest=8x6;OtherChest=double
Multiplayer
Install the mod on the server and every client, and use the same config everywhere. Different grid sizes between players can make extra slots inaccessible.
Safety
The mod preserves access to existing items when a configured grid is made smaller. Even so, make a world backup before changing or removing any storage-size mod. Empty the added slots before uninstalling.
