Social System

Social System brings friends and parties to Valheim: see who is online, write messages, team up in a party with its own HUD, and keep track of each other on the map — all without leaving the game.

Pairs with SkillsReworked. Friends and party members show their Level and Prestige, and nearby party members share kill XP. See Works with SkillsReworked.

Opening the windows

Press O for the social window (friends, status, messages) and P for the party window (members, invitations, ready check). Both keys can be changed in the config.

How it works

Friends – add friends by character name and see who is online, their status, Level and biome.
Status – Online, Away (automatic when idle) or Invisible.
Direct messages – write to friends in the social window or in chat.
Parties – invite, kick and promote; if the leader leaves, someone else takes over.
Rejoin – lose connection and your party spot is kept for a few minutes.
Party HUD – avatars, names, Levels and health bars of your party on the left side of the screen.
Party chat & ready checks – coordinate before the next fight.
Map – party members are always visible on the map and highlighted in the party color.
Invite filter – choose who may invite you: everyone, friends or nobody.
No interruptions in combat – invitations and ready checks wait until the fight is over.

Works with SkillsReworked

Friends, party window and party HUD show everyone's Level and Prestige.
Nearby party members share kill XP (configured in SkillsReworked's "3 - Groups" section).

Good to know

Must be installed on the server and all clients.
Friend lists are saved per character.
Parties, invitations and messages only last for the current session.

Chat Commands

Command	What it does
`/dm <friend> <message>`	Sends a direct message to a friend.
`/r <message>`	Replies to the last direct message.
`/p <message>`	Writes to your party.
