AutoConnector

Remembers server passwords so you never have to type them again.

Features

• Servers listed in BepInEx/config/AutoConnector/servers.yaml are added to the Favorites tab of the Join Game screen.
• When you join a listed server, its password is sent for you and the password prompt is skipped.
• Join a server that is not listed and type its password, and it is saved to the file once the server accepts it.
• If a saved password is rejected, you are asked for the new one and reconnected; the file is updated once the new password works.

The file explains its own format at the top. Each server is filed under the name shown in the server list:

ServerAliases is optional: other addresses for the same server, so the password is still sent when you join it by IP instead of by name.

Client side only. Servers do not need the mod.

Extract AutoConnector.dll into BepInEx/plugins. Requires Jotunn and YamlDotNet.

FAQ

• Passwords are stored as plain text in servers.yaml.
• A server listed by domain name and the same server joined by IP address are different servers unless one is listed in the other's ServerAliases.
• Removing a server from favorites in game does not remove it from servers.yaml, so it is added back. Delete the entry from the file instead.
