Mistlock is a series of modpacks that focuses on incremental progression, and bridging the gap between light QoL changes and heavily modded gameplay.

Server Character Progression Enforcement

• Character progression is saved serverside
• Items brought into the server are automatically removed
• Mods not in the mod list will get you kicked

Key Mod Concepts

Epicloot

• Gather materials and items from creatures
• Identify piles of loot into useful gear!
• Hunt bounties and treasure chests throughout the world

Deathlink

• Configure death options for all of your players
• Provides a death progression system

ImpactfulSkills

• Makes skills become more powerful as you level them up. AOE gathering, more resources harvested, faster movement, more damage, less stamina cost.

Respect your fellow vikings, we’re all here to have a good time and enjoy the game. Please do not do things in the game that would grief another player, specifically:

• Do not terraform or build near boss areas; if you find a boss area that has been wrecked, visit niflheim-request-admin-help to have it repaired.
• Do not leave workbenches or other builds on or near resources that will reset; they block locations from resetting. You can make repair stations but take them down after you use them. You can also just make an outpost on the same island as the dungeons, just don't do it too close to a location since that will prevent the reset.
• Do not construct a base within render distance of another person's build unless they invite you to. This causes a loss of framerate and is rough on people with lower powered computers. This does not apply to the starting island.
• Do not take items from a player container that you did not build.
• Do not take items from another player's tombstone.
• Do not sail off in a boat that you did not create. Someone else made that, don't steal their boat.
• Do not leave tamed animals out around the world. Taming is part of the game and a good way to earn resources, but keep your horde of animals at your base when you're not using them.

Configuration

This modpack comes pre-configured with a default set of configurations, feel free to adjust them to your playstyle or use them when enforcing configuration for a server.

Q. There are updates for mods in this modpack, what do I do? A. The server automatically updates, typically at least once per day. The connection dialog will mention which mods must be upgraded or downgraded to connect.
