Rune Storage Network

One terminal, all your chests. Rune Storage Network brings an Applied Energistics-style storage system to Valheim. Build Rune Chests around your base, place a Rune Terminal, and browse, search, sort and store everything in your network from a single window that looks and feels like part of the game.

Features

• Rune Terminal – a glowing runic table that opens the network window right below your inventory.
• Rune Chest – a 32-slot chest that joins the network automatically.
• Native look – the terminal is built from Valheim's own UI elements, no Unity-style windows.
• Search & sort – live search, sort by Type, Amount or Name.
• Sort network – one click merges stacks and reorganises all Rune Chests as if they were one big storage.
• Pinned favourites – middle-click an item to keep it at the top of the list.
• Choose an amount – Ctrl + right-click opens a quantity popup (-10 / -1 / +1 / +10 / Max).
• Fast storing – right-click or Ctrl + click items in your inventory, drop them onto the terminal, or press Store all.
• Crafting overview – see which known recipes you can make with what is stored in the network plus your inventory.
• Auto-sort – optionally gathers identical items in the same chest and keeps each chest tidy.
• Multiplayer safe – chests that someone else is using are locked, changes are only made by the owner, and settings are synced from the server.

How to use

1. Build one or more Rune Chests (Hammer → Misc).
2. Build a Rune Terminal (Hammer → Misc) within range of the chests (default 20 m).
3. Press E on the terminal.

Store all never touches your hotbar, your equipment/quick slots (e.g. Equipment & Quick Slots) or the bottom-right slots you choose to keep.

The terminal closes automatically when you walk more than 6 m away from it.

Configuration

File: BepInEx/config/morbi.runestoragenetwork.cfg (also editable in-game with the BepInEx Configuration Manager). Settings marked synced are controlled by the server admin.

Installation

Mod manager (recommended): install with r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager – dependencies are installed automatically.

Manual: install BepInExPack Valheim and Jotunn, then copy RuneStorageNetwork.dll into BepInEx/plugins.

Multiplayer: every player and the server need the mod (version check via Jotunn).

Compatibility

• Works with Equipment & Quick Slots (extra slots are never stored).
• Rune Chests are normal containers, so mods that craft from nearby chests can use them too.
