Adds modular ballista turret improvements inspired by Valheim Plus. Each module can be enabled independently:
- Turn speed
- Projectile speed
- Lead shots using target direction, speed, and collider size
- Optional removal of vanilla projectile spread
- View distance
- Attack cooldown
- Infinite ammo
- Ignore players
- Ignore tames
The mod also prevents a turret's missiles from colliding with the turret that fired them.
All gameplay settings are server-authoritative by default through ConditionalConfigSync. Disable Server authority to use local settings instead; changing that option requires a restart.
When vanilla spread is enabled, its angle is compensated for the configured view distance so the lateral spread at maximum range matches vanilla behavior at vanilla maximum range.
Requirements
- BepInExPack Valheim, any compatible version
Install the packaged ZIP through a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager. The plugin is placed at BepInEx/plugins/TurretsRedo/TurretsRedo.dll.
An example configuration is available in TurretsRedo.cfg.example. Copy its contents into BepInEx/config/MrGay.TurretsRedo.cfg after installing the mod.
