AutoFillFires

Keep your torches and fires lit without the busywork. AutoFillFires tops up nearby fires and torches from your chests — either instantly with a hotkey, or automatically on a timer — so you still gather fuel, but never manually refill again.

Features

• Manual hotkey (default: F) — instantly fills every fire and torch in range from your inventory and nearby chests.
• Automatic refill — every few seconds, tops up nearby fires from nearby chests. By default it does not touch the fuel you're carrying, so gathering still matters.
• Works on all fuel-burning fires: standing torches, wall torches/sconces, campfires, hearths, bonfires, and braziers — each using its correct fuel (wood, resin, coal, greydwarf eyes, etc.).
• Skips fires set to infinite fuel so materials are never wasted.
• Fully configurable: hotkey, fire search range, chest search range, auto-fill on/off, interval, whether auto-fill may use your inventory, and on-screen notifications.

How it works

Everything is measured from you, the player. When a fill runs, it gathers the fires within the fire range and the chests within the chest range around your position, then moves fuel from those chests into those fires. Since Valheim only simulates the area around players, fires only burn — and only need topping up — while you're nearby.

Configuration

Settings live in BepInEx/config/yourname.autofillfires.cfg, or edit them in-game with Configuration Manager (F1). Key options:

• General / Hotkey — the manual fill key (default F). Set to None to rely purely on auto-fill.
• General / Range — how far to look for fires (default 30m).
• Chests / ChestRange — how far to look for fuel chests (default 20m).
• Automatic / AutoFill — turn timed auto-fill on/off (default on).
• Automatic / IntervalSeconds — how often auto-fill runs (default 10s).

Multiplayer

Client-side. For a shared base, only one player needs it running — the fires update in the shared world for everyone. Auto-fill runs around whoever has the mod, so if you want the base kept lit whenever either player is home, install it on both.

Place AutoFillFires.dll in your BepInEx/plugins folder. Requires BepInExPack Valheim.
