Search nearby chests for an item by name and follow a guide line to the chests that hold it. Client-side only.Item Search
Find any item in your nearby chests. Press F3, type its name, and follow the guide line.
Features
- Live list of items in chests around you, with icon and total count, filtered as you type.
- Click a result or press Enter: a dotted guide line (the game's own workbench-link effect) leads to every chest that has it, with a beacon above each.
- The lines clear when you open one of those chests, press F3 again, or press Cancel.
- Works with chests, carts and ship storage.
- Client-side only. The server doesn't need it.
Installation
Extract ItemSearch.dll into your BepInEx\plugins\ folder. A mod manager (r2modman, Gale) does this for you.
Configuration
Adjust the settings in-game through the panel's Settings button, or with Configuration Manager. They're saved in BepInEx/config/mythicalbird.valheim.itemsearch.cfg.
