As in vanilla, the upgrade cost is multiplied by the level gained (quality 2: Bronze 5, Wood 2; quality 3: Bronze 10, Wood 4; and so on) and each higher quality needs one more Forge level.
Stats (placeholder)
The stats are placeholders: they are the same as the vanilla Bronze Buckler (block armor, parry bonus, block force, weight, durability, upgrades). Final balancing may change them.
Performance note
The shield model is very detailed (about 835,000 triangles). On slower PCs, many copies on screen at once (for example several dropped shields, or item stands) may lower the frame rate.
Installation
Use a mod manager (r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager). For a manual install, copy the whole package into BepInEx/plugins/NecroverseHeroes-NH_ChaosBuckler/, keeping the plugins/NH_ChaosBuckler folder with the DLL and the nh_chaosbuckler bundle.
Requires BepInExPack_Valheim 5.4.2351 and Jotunn 2.30.2.
Multiplayer
Every player and the server should have the same version installed. The item name NH_ChaosBuckler stays the same in future versions, so saved shields keep working.
Testing
With devcommands enabled: spawn NH_ChaosBuckler.
