OdinrealmTweaksMod
Wisplight mist range, infinite torch/hearth fuel, reduced Ashlands spawns (per-creature), craft from nearby chests (crafting, building, Smelter family), server-synced config, and a full recipe cost rebalance.Odinrealm Tweaks
A focused set of gameplay tweaks, bundled into one mod instead of stacking several single-purpose ones that each do more than you need.
The intent: make the Mistlands and Ashlands a little less punishing, cut down the grind of harvesting ore, and round it out with a handful of quality-of-life changes.
Features
- Brighter wisplight — the wisplight's mist-clearing radius is tripled by default (configurable).
- Eternal flames — standing torches, wall sconces, campfires, hearths, and bonfires never run out of fuel.
- Thinned-out Ashlands — creature spawn rates are reduced, with every creature getting its own independently tunable rate, auto-added to your config the first time it's seen.
- Craft from nearby chests — the crafting menu, the building hammer (including planting with the Cultivator and raising ground with the Hoe), and "hold E to add" at any Smelter-family station (Smelter, Blast Furnace, Charcoal Kiln, Spinning Wheel, Windmill, Eitr Refinery, Hot Tub, Battering Ram) can all pull missing materials from chests within range — no need to carry everything on you. Still respects ward/guard-stone permissions, so it never bypasses another player's storage. The crafting UI shows exactly how much is sitting in nearby storage right next to the amount you need.
- Rebalanced recipes — most metal-based gear (Iron, Silver, Bronze, Black Metal, Flametal) costs noticeably less to craft and upgrade, several Mead Bases and dishes got cheaper or yield more per craft, and a number of high-tier resource costs (Eitr, Linen Thread, Carapace, and more) were brought down to a common, reasonable range.
Configuration
Every setting above is exposed in the generated BepInEx config file and can be tuned to taste — including per-creature Ashlands spawn rates.
This mod uses ServerSync: install it on both the server and every client, and the server's config becomes authoritative. Connect once, and your client automatically picks up the server's settings — no need to manually copy config files around or keep them in sync by hand.
Notes
Some effects only matter on the side that simulates them — world rules like fuel burn-down and creature spawning run on the dedicated server, while crafting-related checks run on whichever client is playing. For every feature to work exactly as intended, install this mod on the server and on each client that wants it.
