Death Sound Metal Pipe

Plays a sound for every player on the server whenever any player dies, no matter how far apart they are in the world.

Features

• When a player dies, everyone who has the mod installed hears the sound, including the player who died.
• The sound plays for 5 seconds and is not tied to a position in the world, so it is equally loud everywhere.
• Adjustable volume with a 0-20 slider (default 15), changed live in game.

Installation

1. Install BepInExPack Valheim. A mod manager such as Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman installs it automatically as a dependency.
2. Install this mod.
3. Every player who wants to hear the sound needs the mod installed. Players without it will not hear anything, and nothing breaks for them.

Settings

The volume is stored in BepInEx/config/Pan_kapkan.DeathSoundMetalPipe.cfg and can be edited there (restart the game after editing the file).

For a slider inside the game, install the Configuration Manager mod and press F1. Find Death Sound Metal Pipe in the list and drag the Volume slider.

Volume	0 - 20	15	0 is silent. 20 is the full volume of the sound file.

Each player sets their own volume, it is not shared over the network.

Notes

• The sound file is death_metal_pipe.wav and sits next to the mod's .dll.
• The volume cannot go above the loudness of the file itself. 20 means 100%.
