Changelog
0.3.0
- The parchment now replaces the game's map in worlds that have the map enabled too, not only in no-map worlds: no minimap and no map on M without a parchment in hand. New server rule
ReplaceVanillaMap, on by default; set it to false to keep the old behaviour (the mod does nothing where the map is enabled).
- The map your character already had in such a world is left untouched in the character file and comes back when the rule is switched off. It is not copied onto parchments.
- The detailed picture (SatelliteMap 0.2.0 or newer) now shows the land as it was when you charted it, not as it is now. A new house or road appears on the parchment only after you walk there again with the parchment in your hand and then visit a cartography table. The tooltip counts the places charted anew that still wait for a table. Copying through the table copies the picture as well: the most recent cartographer wins.
- Parchments and tables made with older versions keep working: their drawn places get a snapshot of the world as it is when you first hold the parchment with 0.3.0. Parchments touched by 0.3.0 cannot be read by older versions.
- Server and players need the same minor version, so everyone has to update. For the "as charted" picture the server needs SatelliteMap 0.2.0 as well; with an older one the picture stays live.
0.2.0
- Works together with the new SatelliteMap mod (optional): zooming in shows the drawn part of the parchment as a detailed top-down picture of the world, with relief, forest, player-made paths, buildings, ruins and boss altars.
- New server rule
DetailLevel (0-3) decides how detailed that picture is. It is the groundwork for parchment grades: the level will come from the grade of the parchment.
- Maps made with 0.1.0 keep working. Server and players need the same minor version, so everyone has to update.
0.1.0
- First release: a craftable parchment map for no-map worlds. It works only in your hand, keeps its own explored area and marks, gets drawn at the cartography table and can be copied through it. The map is a picture: no player markers, marks only on drawn land.
