LudvigValheim
Unofficial Ludvig companion for Valheim with hosted online co-op synchronization, paid jobs, hunting, Norwegian voice lines, dialogue UI, night lantern and map pin.LudvigValheim 1.4.0
A fan-made Valheim companion mod. Ludvig can follow players, gather resources, hunt, work as a nervous combat companion and go on expeditions.
1.3 highlights
Spoken dialogue is audio-only. The E menu includes a silent-mode toggle. Resource availability follows world boss progression where the corresponding global keys are available. Higher-tier ore has higher prices, longer expeditions and longer cooldowns. In co-op, remote players send presence updates to the host so Ludvig can return toward the player who ordered the job.
Hunting includes deer, boar, neck, wolf, lox and hare, plus an expensive trophy option. Wood jobs use a wider fallback when trees are sparse.
IL Tempo Gigante
The mod includes a compatibility hook rather than bundling another mod's vehicle. If an active nearby GameObject contains both Tempo and Gigante in its name, the menu can start a paid adventure. Ludvig departs with the vehicle as the departure anchor and later returns with a random progression-appropriate resource. Exact seated/driving animation depends on the vehicle mod exposing a seat/vehicle API; this package does not redistribute or modify that vehicle.
Multiplayer
All players should use the same version. The host remains authoritative for Ludvig state/jobs. Voice is synchronized, and requesting clients report their current position so job return/follow behavior can target the requester.
Build
Run BYGG_FOR_THUNDERSTORE.cmd. Paths are preconfigured for the development machine used for this project. The built upload package is placed in dist.
Tempo Gigante vehicle (1.4.0)
Ludvig now owns a physical in-world inventor racer inspired by the Tempo Gigante idea. The vehicle is generated by the plugin itself (no separate vehicle mod required), with brass/copper bodywork, red wheels, exposed mechanical details, working night headlights, exhaust smoke, a driver seat, animated wheels and steering. The Tempo adventure job makes Ludvig mount the car, drive away, disappear during the long expedition, then physically drive back before delivering the random progression-appropriate cargo.
