The Reef — realm modpack

One package for the players of The Reef: install it in r2modman (or Thunderstore Mod Manager) on the Valheim game, select the profile, press Play. It pulls what the server runs, pinned to the versions the server runs.

Install

1. Install r2modman, pick Valheim, create a profile.
2. Online → search TheReef (by ReefTeam) → Download.
3. Start modded, create a new character, Join IP with the address and password from the Discord.

Updating from 0.7.x: uninstall TheReefPrivate first (the private zip is retired since 0.8.0), then take the TheReef update.

Rules

• Do not add other mods to this profile. The server counts on this exact list.
• When r2modman shows "update available" on TheReef, take it before joining.
• Never update a single mod by hand (r2modman offers it per mod): the server runs the pinned versions and refuses anything else. TheReef updates carry the new versions when the server is ready.
• Problems: send Synistro the log (r2modman → Settings → Browse profile folder → BepInEx/LogOutput.log).

Versions

0.10.21 — Warfare 1.9.6 from its author (pickaxe arrows and bolts dig again). "Update all" works again.

0.10.20 — "Update all" works again: PlantEverything 1.21.4, RecyclePlus 1.3.9 and lox wagons 0.11.3 from their authors; the Compost button says "Item Composted".

0.10.19 — lox wagons 0.11.2 (shared storage while driving, smoother for other players); the recycle bin is now Compost; Zen_ModLib 1.14.22.

0.10.18 — Fenrir armor +12 % a full set (was +15 %); RecyclePlus 1.3.8 from its author.

0.10.17 — Therzie's Monstrum (new creatures, three mini-bosses, tames; the locked Armory sets can be made); seed beds; lox wagons; Fenrir armor gives +5 % speed per piece.

0.10.16 — Therzie's Warfare and Armory (new weapons and armor, biome by biome); raise a friend by holding F 5 s on their grave; fewer losses after a crash; author updates for Valheim 1.0.17.

0.10.15 — mead bases no longer lost at the fermenter (AzuCraftyBoxes 1.8.19 from its author), PlantEverything 1.21.3 from its author, Zen_ModLib 1.14.16 for Valheim 1.0.16.

0.10.8 — planting is vanilla again (PlantEasily leaves the pack), but you keep harvesting a whole patch with Shift + pick; torches go back to vanilla (switchable back on per player); monsters' friendly fire drops to a fifth; standing portals follow the realm's metal rule.

0.10.7 — torches light at dusk and go out at dawn, no resin (cooking fires unchanged); PlantEasily for planting in rows; spearfishing; item icons on the cursor.

0.10.6 — Sated and its sync library removed: ReefClient does the food curve now, same feel, and a Sated release can no longer lock anyone out.

0.10.0 — ReefPacks 0.2.0: a worn pack costs 10 % speed (cape or pack).
