RestlessPiles
Turn familiar resource piles into bulk storage. Deposit supplies, take a stack and craft from nearby piles.RestlessPiles
Your wood stack can hold the wood you actually cut.
RestlessPiles turns supported vanilla resource stacks and piles into bulk stores for their own material. Existing placed piles keep working.

Store it where it belongs
A wood stack holds wood. A stone pile holds stone. Supported single-resource piles cover available wood variants, stone, coal, black marble, grausten, bones, skulls and coins.
An empty pile still knows its material. It is a buildable pile, with no mixed-item chest inventory or extra bag grid.
Deposit and withdraw
Press E to open a pile. Stack deposits matching bag items; Take stack fills one matching partial stack or starts one new stack. Core's Backtick Quick Stack also deposits into nearby matching piles.
Hotbar, equipment/quick slots and locked cells remain protected. Removing or destroying a pile returns stored extras and its build materials as ordinary drops.
Part of the workshop
Crafting and building can use nearby pile stock after checking chests. Supported station interactions find pile inputs and fuel, and ground-item routing prefers an appropriate pile before a matching chest.
Storage lists nearby piles alongside containers. Cook can use their stock in kitchen orders.
Start here
- Install Piles with Core.
- Place a supported pile, or visit one already built.
- Open its tray and deposit matching resources.
Use F8 → RestlessPiles for its host-controlled toggle and range settings. Piles follow Core's search range by default. Enable Isolate pile range to use a separate radius; that slider appears only when needed.
Piles are nearby physical stores, not global access to every pile in the world.
Installation and help
Requires RestlessCore, BepInExPack and Jötunn. A mod manager installs the required dependencies. Use matching released plugin versions on all clients and the server.
