Necromes

Necromes are ancient constructs of bone, stone, and crystal that sustain and protect the necromancer’s home.
Each tier of Necrome increases its healing, repair, and protective power — but only one may effectively cover a given area due to placement restrictions.

Purpose

A Necrome is more than just a landmark — it actively sustains and protects the necromancer's home.

  • Places a protective aura and halo around the necromancer's dwelling.
  • Repairs buildings within its range.
  • Heals the necromancer while they remain within range.
  • Heals summons while they remain within range.

Important: Necromes do not automatically scale their stats. To receive improved healing (amount, interval) or a wider repair/heal range you must construct and place a higher-tier Necrome (for example, replace a Novice Necrome with an Apprentice Necrome). Each placed Necrome has fixed stats determined by its tier.


Placement & Restrictions

  • Necromes are placed like standard Valheim pieces using the Hammer.
  • They can be rotated freely for aesthetic purposes; rotation does not affect performance or effects.
  • Placement Limitation: Necromes cannot be placed too close to each other. A block radius of 100 meters prevents overlapping auras. This ensures each Necrome defines its own territory and prevents stacking multiple Necromes for unfair healing/repair overlap.

Progression

There are 10 tiers of Necromes, each providing improved restore times, range, and healing to the necromancer’s domain.
