ValheimCityBuilder
Press F7 and Valheim becomes a city builder: settlers, needs, production chains, taxes, research, scouts, clans, armies and boss camps. Every boss starts a new age with its own building style.Valheim City Builder
Press F7 and Valheim turns into a city builder.
Valheim City Builder puts a classic city-builder view, economy and progression on top of Valheim. Your Viking is still there: press F7 again and you're back in the normal game.
Features
- City-builder view (F7): top-down camera, build menu, resource bar, minimap, tooltips and info panels.
- Settlers: build a Viking Hut and Vikings move in on their own. They pay taxes every minute, and they work in your buildings.
- Houses build themselves, piece by piece, out of real Valheim building parts.
- Needs: Vikings want food. Karls want meat or honey, and mead. Jarls want meat, mead, coal and bread. If a need isn't met, people move out.
- Upgrades: a full house with all needs met can be upgraded on the spot: Viking Hut → Karl House → Jarl Hall.
- Production chains: Lumberjack's Hut, Forager's Hut, Hunting Cabin, Smokehouse, Apiary, Carrot Farm, Quarry, Meadery, Barley Farm, Mill, Bakery, Charcoal Kiln and more. Lumberjacks replant, and nature grows back.
- Roads: buildings need a road to a warehouse. Roads snap to a grid.
- Research: the Skald's Fire turns sagas into knowledge, and knowledge buys research in three branches (Economy, Community, War).
- The world outside: the map starts under fog. Scouts uncover it and find Viking clans with real villages, traders, the Dvergr and hostile tribes. Trade, send gifts, sign agreements or go to war.
- Armies: Weaponsmith and Barracks train Spearmen into squads. Attack camps from the world map and watch the battle happen.
- Boss camps: every boss lives in a guarded camp. Beat the garrison with your army, then the boss. Each victory starts a new age.
- Seven ages: every age unlocks new buildings and a new look for your town (core wood, stone and iron, crystal windows, dark shingles, black marble, grausten and ashwood).
- City-builder look: smaller trees and rocks, warm light and a tilt-shift miniature effect in the top-down view.
