Hunger Pangs Plus

A quality-of-life food automation mod for Valheim.

Features

• Auto Eat – automatically eats suitable food when a food slot can be filled or refreshed.
• Clickable Active Food Slots – left- or right-click an active food icon to remove it.
• Return Removed Food – removed active food can be returned to inventory; if the inventory is full, the food remains active.
• Manual Selection Pause – pauses Auto Eat after a manual food change.
• Base Refill – pulls prepared edible food from nearby accessible containers while at base.
• Safe Storage Filtering – avoids treating tombstones, carts, wagons and ships as normal food storage.
• Hotbar Management – places selected food into free hotbar slots without overwriting occupied slots.
• Travel Harvest – automatically harvests edible pickable plants while travelling.
• Auto Cooking – collects finished food and loads compatible ingredients at nearby cooking stations.
• Global Automation Toggle – default shortcut: Left Alt + F3.

Valheim 1.0 readiness

Hunger Pangs Plus is being prepared for the transition to Valheim 1.0.

The current release remains intended to work with the present supported Valheim build.
Because Valheim 1.0 has not yet been released, final 1.0 runtime compatibility cannot be truthfully verified yet.

A dedicated 1.0 compatibility worktree has already been prepared so that the final 1.0 build can be validated and released quickly once the real Valheim 1.0 assemblies are available.

Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman will install the declared BepInEx dependency automatically.

Installation

Thunderstore / r2modman

Install the package with your mod manager and launch Valheim through the manager.

Manual installation

Install BepInEx for Valheim and copy:

HungerPangsPlus.dll

to:

Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/

Configuration

Launch the game once after installation. Hunger Pangs Plus uses BepInEx configuration entries for automation features, intervals and ranges.
