Achievements With Cheats

An optional add-on for Normal Achievements that allows achievement progress when using cheats, devcommands and spawned items.

What it does

• Bypasses the overall achievement cheat check, including character, world and cheated-item restrictions.
• Enables the game's native cheat-check bypass while installed.
• Hides cheated-item pickup/drop achievement notifications while the add-on bypass is active. Other notifications remain visible.
• Keeps the normal requirements for individual achievements: you still need to perform the relevant actions.

This does not unlock all achievements, replay missed progress, or erase existing cheat flags. Because it uses the native bypass, it also affects cheat-item tagging when spawning or crafting items. Removing the add-on does not retroactively tag those items.

Requirements and installation

Requires Normal Achievements 1.0.2 or later and BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350 or later.

Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager; required dependencies are installed automatically. Launch Valheim modded. Install on each player's profile that wants this behaviour; no server installation is required.

For manual installation, install both dependencies, close Valheim, and copy the included plugins/AchievementsWithCheats folder into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/.

No configuration or console command is needed. If upgrading from the standalone version, replace its DLL rather than keeping two copies. This version requires Normal Achievements and will not load without it.

Removal

Close Valheim and uninstall the add-on, or remove its plugin folder. Normal Achievements can remain installed; its normal character, world and item cheat checks will apply again. Existing saved cheat flags are not cleared by either installation or removal.
