Normal Achievements

Keep achievement progress available during normal gameplay with mods installed.

Normal Achievements removes only the achievement restriction caused by the game being marked as modded. Character, world and cheated-item checks remain in place.

Requirements and installation

Requires BepInExPack Valheim 5.4.2350 or later.

Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager on your player profile and launch modded. No server installation or configuration is required.

For manual installation, close Valheim and copy the included plugins/NormalAchievements folder into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/.

What it does

• Allows the game's achievement checks to ignore the modded-game flag.
• Preserves normal achievement requirements and all other vanilla cheat checks.
• Refuses to apply its patch if the expected modded flag check is not found exactly once.

What to expect

Achievements still require the relevant in-game actions. This mod does not unlock achievements automatically, replay missed progress, clear cheat flags, or edit character/world saves.

Characters or worlds marked as cheated, and inventories containing cheated items, may still block progress. Modded gameplay alone is the restriction this base mod addresses.

Removal

Close Valheim and remove the mod from your profile, or delete its folder from BepInEx/plugins/.

Optional cheat support

Install Achievements With Cheats alongside this mod to also bypass character, world, cheated-item and devcommand achievement restrictions. Without that add-on, Normal Achievements preserves these checks.
