If you are having trouble with crash on load please follow the link below to change your system page file size for the HDD/SSD in use, i personally set the same settings across all my drives, this setting will help with any script heavy modded games: https://www.swooshtech.com/2023/05/09/solid-edge-page-file-sizes/

Two steps you can take to make the entirety of Valheim run better for some people that may be having issues:

1. Right click Valheim in your Steam library and hit Properties, under the General tab set your Launch Options to: -window-mode exclusive "-force-vulkan-screen-fullscreen -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=System -console" without the apostraphes

2. Click installed files next, then hit Browse, click valheim_Data and open boot.config in your notepad, then paste this over anything that may be there:

gfx-enable-gfx-jobs=1

gfx-enable-native-gfx-jobs=1

vr-enabled=0

scripting-runtime-version=latest

(with no spaces between them, i had to do it here for formatting sake)
