MasterChest
Mark one chest as Master and others as Receiving. Close the Master and its items flow to the Receiving chests, exact item match first, then category. Client-side.MasterChest
Sort a pile of loot into your storage chests by closing one chest.
Mark one chest as the Master, mark your storage chests as Receiving, and tell each Receiving chest which items and item categories it wants. When you close the Master chest, its contents move to the matching Receiving chests nearby. Anything that has no home stays in the Master.
Client-side. Install it on the machines of the players who want to use it. The server does not need it, and players without it can still use the chests normally.
How to use
- Open a chest and click Chest Settings (above the weight icon, bottom-right of the chest window).
- Pick a mode:
- None: a normal chest.
- Master: closing this chest sends its items to Receiving chests.
- Receiving: accepts items according to its filter.
- On a Receiving chest, click Edit Filters and tick what it should take:
- Categories tab: whole item types (Material, Consumable, Ammo, Trophy, ...).
- Items tab: individual items. Use the search box, scroll with the wheel or drag the scrollbar.
- Close the Master chest. Items are moved automatically and a short message tells you how many.
Matching rules
- An exact item match wins over a category match.
- Among matching chests, the nearest one to the Master is tried first. If it is full, the next one is used.
- If every exact-match chest is full, the item falls back to chests that accept its category.
- Items that nobody accepts, or that do not fit, stay in the Master. Stacks that only partly fit are split.
- Receiving chests with an empty filter are ignored.
Good to know
- Only Receiving chests within 30 m of the Master (configurable) are used, and they must be loaded, meaning close enough to you to be active in the world.
- Chests inside a ward you cannot access, and chests another player currently has open, are skipped.
- The mode and filters are stored in the chest itself, so they survive saves and are shared between players who use the mod.
- Transfers also happen when a Master closes because you walked away from it.

Known limitations
- Gamepad navigation of the new menus is not supported yet.
- Pressing Escape while typing in the search box closes the inventory; click elsewhere first to stop typing.
- Tested on single player and on a dedicated server with a few players. Please report anything odd, ideally with
BepInEx/LogOutput.logattached.
