LithoCost
Customize stone, black marble, Grausten, crystal, and other rock-based Valheim building costs per material or piece.LithoCost
LithoCost lets you change the resource and quantity required by Valheim building pieces that use stone, black marble, Grausten (Ashlands stone), crystals, obsidian, or other rock-like materials.
You can set one cost for every piece using a material, or give an individual piece its own override. For example, make a black-marble wall cost Stone x 1 or Stone x 10000. Other non-rock ingredients on that piece stay unchanged.
Install
Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. Requires BepInExPack for Valheim.
Configure
Run Valheim once with the mod installed. LithoCost scans the build-piece catalog and creates sections in:
BepInEx/config/com.lithocost.valheim.cfg
Edit the file and restart Valheim for changes to take effect.
Change one piece
Find a section named Piece: <prefab ID>, for example:
[Piece: piece_blackmarble_wall_2x1]
Enabled = true
ReplacementPrefab = Stone
Amount = 10000
Piece rules replace all rock-like ingredients for that piece and take priority over material rules. The prefab ID is the section name generated by the mod; use it exactly as shown.
Change every piece using one material
Find a section named Material: <resource prefab ID>, such as Material: BlackMarble, then set Enabled = true, choose a ReplacementPrefab, and set Amount.
ReplacementPrefab is Valheim's internal item prefab ID, such as Stone, BlackMarble, or Crystal. Amount = 0 removes that rock cost. Invalid item IDs are ignored and the original cost is retained.
Add modded rock materials
The General section contains RockResourceKeywords. Add comma-separated words that appear in a modded material's prefab ID, then restart. The default terms are stone,marble,grausten,rock,crystal,obsidian.
Multiplayer
LithoCost changes local build requirements and does not synchronize settings. Install it with the same configuration for every player who builds in a multiplayer world.

[Piece: piece_blackmarble_wall_2x1]
Enabled = true
ReplacementPrefab = Stone
Amount = 10000
