TargetPortal
Link each Valheim portal directly to one specific target portal.TargetPortal
TargetPortal lets one Valheim portal point to one specific portal. The link is stored as the destination portal's world ID, not as a shared portal tag.
What it changes
Vanilla Valheim finds a portal with the same tag. A portal linked by TargetPortal always uses its saved target instead. Tags are still available as friendly labels, but they no longer decide travel for that linked portal.
Installation
Install TargetPortal with Thunderstore. The mod is required on the server/host and every player who joins the world. It depends on BepInExPack_Valheim, which Thunderstore installs automatically.
Link two portals
- In Valheim, open the developer console with
F5. (Enable it in Steam launch options with-consoleif necessary.) - Aim at the source portal and enter
tp select. - Travel to the portal that should be the destination, aim at it, and enter
tp link. - Repeat the same process in reverse if you want the return trip to be direct too.
The source and target can be on different islands. The source need not still be loaded when tp link is entered.

Multiplayer and safety
The server is authoritative and stores links in the world data. Install the same version on the server and all clients. Version 1.0 is intended for trusted co-op worlds: any player who can use the console can create or clear a link.
Compatibility
TargetPortal changes only portal destination resolution. It does not add a map, world generation, locations, or items. A link can be cleared at any time, returning that portal to vanilla tag matching.
Manual installation
Unzip the package, then place plugins/TargetPortal.dll in BepInEx/plugins/.
