==Included Greylist Mods==
Willybachs HD Seasonality
Willybach-Willybachs_HD_Seasonality
Allows Seasonality to use beautiful HD texture support. This is great if you want Valheim’s seasonal changes to look much cleaner, sharper, and more immersive.
Best for:
- Players who care about visuals
- Players using Seasonality
- Players with stronger PCs or extra VRAM
If your PC struggles with graphics, this may be one of the first visual mods to remove.
Pixel Map Icons
Adds more colorful and fun map pins/icons. This helps make your map easier to read and gives it more personality.
Best for:
- Explorers
- Map markers
- Group play
- Players who like a cleaner, more useful map
Gizmo
Allows you to rotate building pieces on the X, Y, and Z axis instead of being limited to basic rotation. This is one of the best building comfort mods for creative builders.
Best for:
- Builders
- Decorators
- Advanced base design
- Players who want cleaner angles and more freedom when placing pieces
ClearTheAir
Allows wisp clearing range to be configurable. This is useful for improving visibility in mist-heavy areas and making exploration less frustrating.
Best for:
- Mistlands exploration
- Better visibility
- Players who dislike heavy mist obstruction
VNEI
Adds an in-game recipe lookup system so you can search items, crafting recipes, and related information without constantly checking outside websites.
Best for:
- Newer players
- Modded crafting
- Recipe checking
- Players who want less alt-tabbing
Azus UnOfficial Config Manager
Adds an in-game configuration manager for changing certain client-side mod settings more easily. This is useful for tweaking personal settings without digging through config files.
Best for:
- Players who want easier config changes
- Adjusting client-side preferences
- Testing visual or performance settings
Note: Server-enforced configs still override personal settings when applicable.
CombatOwner
Switches creature ownership to the player the creature is targeting. In multiplayer, this can make combat feel smoother and more responsive because the active target handles the creature more directly.
Best for:
- Multiplayer combat
- Smoother mob behavior
- Reducing weird enemy response issues
AugaLite
Optional UI mod add-on that gives extra information and improves parts of the interface while staying lighter than a full UI overhaul.
Best for:
- Players who want better UI information
- Players who like cleaner interface details
- Players who want useful info without going too heavy
If you prefer the vanilla UI, you can skip this.
FPSPlus
Boosts FPS and frame stability, especially for players on lower-end PCs or players who struggle in large bases and busy areas.
Best for:
- Potato PCs
- Large bases
- Smoother FPS
- Players with stutters or frame drops
NoMo Snow
\*\*coemt-NoMo\\\_Snow\*\*
Removes snow particles. This can help FPS in mountain and snow-heavy areas and can make visibility cleaner.
Best for:
- Better FPS in snow biomes
- Cleaner visibility
- Players who dislike heavy snow effects
NoMo Ash
\*\*coemt-NoMo\\\_Ash\*\*
Removes ash rain particles. This is useful for improving FPS and visibility in the Ashlands.
Best for:
- Ashlands performance
- Better visibility
- Reducing particle strain
No Grass
\*\*VentureValheim-No\\\_Grass\*\*
Gives players the option to remove grass for better performance. Grass can be surprisingly heavy in some areas, especially on weaker PCs.
Best for:
- Potato PCs
- FPS improvement
- Cleaner ground visibility
- Players who care more about performance than dense visuals
If you want the prettiest possible game, you may want to keep grass enabled or skip this mod.
Optional HD Texture Packs Outside Thunderstore
The following texture packs are not included directly in the Thunderstore modpack, but they are allowed optional visual upgrades for players who want Valheim to look much more beautiful.
These are heavier on graphics and may lower FPS, especially on older PCs or systems with lower VRAM.
Willybach's HD Valheim 2.0
This is a large HD texture overhaul that upgrades much of Valheim while still trying to stay close to the vanilla feel and color style.
Best for:
- High-end PCs
- Players who want a more beautiful Valheim
- Players who want HD textures while keeping a mostly vanilla-style look
Not recommended for:
- Very low-end PCs
- Players already struggling with FPS
- Players with limited VRAM
Badgers HD Terrain 2.0
This improves terrain visuals with higher-quality terrain textures, better blending, lighting, and environmental detail.
Best for:
- Better terrain visuals
- More immersive landscapes
- Players using Willybach's HD Valheim
- Stronger PCs
This is a beautiful upgrade, but it is more graphically demanding than the normal Thunderstore greylist pack.

Final Notes
This greylist modpack exists so players can customize their Valhalla experience without being forced into one exact setup.
Use what helps you. Skip what you do not need.
If your game looks amazing but your FPS drops too much, remove the heavier visual mods first. If your FPS is great and you want the world to look more beautiful, try the optional Nexus texture packs.
