Food Bag
A separate food bag in your inventory (AzuExtendedPlayerInventory or Equipment and Quick Slots): food-only slots, auto eat, quick eat key.Food Bag
A separate food bag in your inventory: a few slots that only take food, and that keep you fed by themselves.
Works with either inventory mod - install one of them:
- AzuExtendedPlayerInventory: the bag slots sit next to AzuEPI's equipment and quick slots;
- Equipment and Quick Slots 3.1 or newer: the bag slots are custom slots next to its equipment and quick slots (EAQS has room for 10 slots from other mods).
Features
- Food bag slots (
Food 1,Food 2,Food 3by default). They only accept food - no potions, meads or other items. - Auto eat from the bag:
- when one of your three food slots is free, a food from the bag that you are not already eating is eaten;
- when a food is about to run out (below
Refresh below %of its time, default 5%), the same food is eaten again if the bag has it - otherwise another food from the bag, ifUse another foodis on.
- Quick eat key (default
Left Alt + F): eat from the bag right now - fills a free food slot or refreshes the food closest to running out. - Uses the game's own "eat" (the same as a right click on the food), so every vanilla rule applies: the game only lets you eat a food again after half of its time.
Configuration
BepInEx/config/ValheimLiteni.FoodBag.cfg (or in game with a configuration manager):
| Section | Setting | Default |
|---|---|---|
| 1 - General | Enabled | true |
| 2 - Food bag | Slots | 3 (1-6, restart the game after changing; empty removed slots first) |
| 2 - Food bag | Slot name | Food |
| 3 - Auto eat | Auto eat | true |
| 3 - Auto eat | Refresh below % | 5 (0 = only when a food has run out) |
| 3 - Auto eat | Use another food | true |

Install
Client side: everyone who wants a food bag installs it, together with one of the two inventory mods (that one goes on the server and all clients as usual). If both are installed, the bag goes into AzuExtendedPlayerInventory.
Before removing the mod, or switching between the two inventory mods, move the food out of the bag slots: neither inventory mod takes over the other's slots.
Changelog
- 1.1.0 - also works with Equipment and Quick Slots 3.1+ (its custom slot API); AzuExtendedPlayerInventory is no longer a required dependency - install one of the two
- 1.0.0 - first version
