Wire's Alt Biome Info

Shows Valheim 1.0 alt-biome names in the existing vanilla biome labels instead of adding another HUD element.

Traslations

translations/English.txt is kept only as a translator reference/template. Selecting English always uses the built-in DLL defaults.

Other language .txt files work as overlays on top of the built-in English defaults. They may be placed either in the translations folder or beside the DLL (the latter also handles mod-manager installs that flatten folders).

To make a translation:

1. Copy English.txt.
2. Rename the copy to whatever, preferably the language that the translation is in.
3. rename the modifier adjectives
4. save
5. open the game
6. load it in-game using the config.

Valheim already localizes the normal base biome names. These translation entries cover the extra AltBiome descriptions displayed by this mod.
