SignColorPicker

Choose the color of your Valheim sign text without typing color tags manually. SignColorPicker adds a Color button to the standard sign editing window and opens a palette of colored squares in a frame matching the game UI.

Installation

Install with Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman. For manual installation, install BepInExPack Valheim and copy SignColorPicker.dll into BepInEx/plugins/SignColorPicker/.

This is a client-side mod. Install it on the client editing signs; installation on a dedicated server is not required. Other players see colored text through the game's standard sign formatting.

Usage

Open a sign for editing.
Enter your text and click Color.
Select a colored square.
Click OK to save, or Cancel to discard changes.

Existing color tags are replaced when selecting a color. Other formatting tags are preserved. The palette is designed for mouse input.

Configuration

Created after the first launch:

BepInEx/config/com.xtasy.ValheimSignColorPicker.cfg

The internal identifier is retained even though the display name is SignColorPicker.

Separate colors with commas or semicolons. Supported formats: #RRGGBB and #RRGGBBAA; the leading # is optional. An empty value disables extra colors. Invalid entries are skipped and logged.

Custom colors appear after the built-in palette. Save the config to apply changes automatically; the mod checks for file changes every 0.5 seconds. The open palette updates without restarting the game. The sign text changes only when you select a color.

Мод добавляет кнопку «Цвет» в стандартное окно редактирования таблички. Палитра состоит из цветных квадратов без подписей и оформлена рамкой в стиле игры.

20 встроенных вариантов, включая стандартный цвет.
Дополнительные HEX-цвета через параметр CustomColorsHex.
Цвет применяется ко всей надписи. Первый квадрат сбрасывает окрашивание.
При русском языке игры кнопка называется «Цвет», при любом другом — Color.
После сохранения конфига палитра обновляется автоматически, даже в открытом окне.
Установка нужна только клиенту, редактирующему таблички; на сервер мод ставить не требуется.

Откройте табличку, введите текст, нажмите «Цвет», выберите квадрат и сохраните кнопкой OK. «Отмена» оставляет табличку без изменений.
