Find a known crafting recipe by typing part of its item name instead of scrolling through the entire list.
Client-side only. No dedicated server installation is required. The search field appears in the crafting window header, between the station icon and its name. The placeholder is Russian when the game language is Russian and English for other languages; matching uses item names in your current game language.
Features
- Search as you type: the recipe list updates when the search text changes.
- Localized names: search the same item names that the game displays, including names supplied by other mods.
- Flexible matching: case does not matter. Multiple words must all occur in the name, in any order. Russian
еandёare treated as equivalent. - Known recipes: search narrows the game's existing list. It does not unlock unknown recipes or hide a known recipe just because you lack materials.
- Craft and Upgrade: both tabs use the search. Switching tabs preserves the text; closing the inventory clears it.
- Keyboard focus: game hotkeys are blocked while you type. Enter or Escape finishes editing and keeps the query; the next Escape closes the inventory normally.
- Crafting protection: the input is temporarily disabled during an active craft or upgrade. Pending search changes apply once it finishes.
- Adjustable position: configure the field width, height and offsets to suit your interface.
Installation
Install through Thunderstore Mod Manager, r2modman, or another compatible mod manager. BepInExPack Valheim is the only required dependency.
For manual installation, install BepInExPack Valheim, then place WorkbenchCraftSearch.dll in:
BepInEx/plugins/WorkbenchCraftSearch/
Close the game before replacing the DLL. When upgrading from a test build or earlier version, replace the existing DLL instead of leaving duplicate copies in different plugin folders.

For example, stone axe matches a Stone axe in English, and камен топ matches Каменный топор in Russian. Searches use the current localized item name, rather than English prefab names.

The field follows the game's UI scale. Edit the configuration with the game closed, then restart to apply changes.
Compatibility
Version 1.0.1 removes the interaction that made ConsoleFix repeatedly try to restore focus to the sign/portal input while using craft search. Focus release is deferred until UI selection callbacks have completed.
Built against the locally installed Valheim 1.0.20 libraries. Compilation, member bindings and automated search checks passed; the corrected version has not yet been verified in a live game session. Mods that replace the crafting interface may need additional position adjustments or compatibility work.

WorkbenchCraftSearch добавляет поиск слева от названия станции в окне крафта. Мод устанавливается только на клиент; на выделенном сервере он не нужен.
- Нажмите на поле «Поиск…» и введите часть названия предмета. Список фильтруется по мере ввода.
- Поиск использует названия на текущем языке игры. Регистр не важен,
еиёсчитаются одинаковыми. - Если ввести несколько слов, каждое должно присутствовать в названии, в любом порядке. Например,
топорнайдёт топоры, акамен топ— каменный топор. - Неизвестные рецепты не открываются. Известные рецепты остаются в поиске даже при нехватке материалов.
- Поиск работает на вкладках «Создать» и «Улучшить». Переключение вкладки сохраняет запрос, закрытие инвентаря очищает его.
- Пустая строка возвращает обычный список. Enter или Escape завершает ввод с сохранением запроса. Следующее нажатие Escape закрывает инвентарь как обычно.
- Пока вы печатаете, игровые горячие клавиши блокируются. Во время создания или улучшения предмета поле временно недоступно.
Установка: через менеджер модов либо вручную — WorkbenchCraftSearch.dll в BepInEx/plugins/WorkbenchCraftSearch/. Требуется только BepInExPack Valheim. При обновлении замените прежнюю DLL, не оставляя вторую копию мода.
Настройки: BepInEx/config/local.valheim.workbenchcraftsearch.cfg. Параметры Width и Height задают размер поля (по умолчанию 130 × 28), OffsetX и OffsetY — сдвиг вправо и вверх. Для применения правок перезапустите игру.
В 1.0.1 устранена причина, по которой ConsoleFix пытался многократно возвращать фокус в поле таблички/портала. Также изменена обработка завершения ввода, чтобы не выбирать поле повторно внутри события выбора интерфейса. Исправленная версия прошла сборку и автоматические проверки; совместный запуск в игре ещё не проверен.
