Changelog

1.1.2

  • README only: an apology for 1.1.0 and clearer version notes. Same plugin as 1.1.1 (build 1.0.7.4); no need to restart a server already on 1.1.1.

1.1.1

  • Fixes 1.1.0, which broke every hoe operation on the client. The radius-over-the-wire patch typed one parameter wrong (the game passes the placed piece's GameObject, not its TerrainOp), threw on every placement, and the throw stopped the terrain operation from being sent at all — the piece placed, the effect played, nothing changed. Update off 1.1.0 immediately.
  • Both wire patches are now exception-proof: whatever happens inside them, the operation is still sent and still applied, at worst at the default size, with one warning in the log instead of a stack trace per click.
  • Plugin build number 1.0.7.4, and it now reports correctly (1.1.0 announced itself as 1.0.7.2 in the log).

1.1.0

  • Scroll-wheel / hotkey radius change works again. Valheim 1.0.7 stopped sending terrain-op settings over the wire (only the prefab hash goes), so the server applied the default radius no matter what the player had scrolled to, while the ghost preview kept scaling. The radius change is now carried on the operation itself and applied on the receiving side. Unscrolled placements are unchanged on the wire; a server or client without 1.1.0 applies the default size rather than failing. Update the server first, then clients.
  • README now says how to open the menu (right-click) and how to change the size.
  • Plugin build number 1.0.7.3.

1.0.0

First public release.

Compatibility port of MagicMike's MyDirtyHoe 2.0.2 to current Valheim (verified on 1.0.12, BepInEx 5.4.2350, Jotunn 2.30.0):

  • Private TerrainComp members reached through Harmony FieldRefAccess instead of direct field access.
  • Heightmap.Poke, Piece.SetCreator and Terminal.ConsoleCommand call sites updated to the current signatures.
  • Terrain-op prefabs registered into ObjectDB.m_terrainOps via a prefix on UpdateRegisters, so modded terrain operations are no longer silently cancelled — this was the cause of "places a marker but the ground never moves".
  • Separate plugin GUID and config folder so it can coexist with the original.

No gameplay changes.
