Custom Loading Screens

Credits

This package is a preservation re-upload of the original Custom Loading Screens mod by aedenthorn.

All credit for the mod, source code, and original development belongs to aedenthorn. This Thunderstore package exists to preserve and distribute the mod while directing users to the original creator whenever possible.

To use this mod after installing it, place as many .png files as you like in:

BepInEx/plugins/CustomLoadingScreens/

The mod will choose one image at random for the Loading... part, and optionally another for the screen with the tips.

You can optionally add a tips.txt file with one tip per line if you want to replace the tips with your own list. Tips can be shown on both parts of the loading screen.

You can also customize the vignette, color mask, and other settings in the configuration file.

The mod comes with an empty tips.txt file and three .png files from Wikipedia that are vaguely related to Vikings.

Configuration

A configuration file is created after running the game once with this mod:

BepInEx/config/aedenthorn.CustomLoadingScreens.cfg

You can adjust the configuration by:

• Editing the file with any text editor.
• Using Configuration Manager in-game (if installed).

Reloading the Configuration

To reload the configuration without restarting the game, open the console (F5) and enter:

loadingscreens reset

Technical

Manual Installation

1. Install BepInEx.
2. Place the mod's .dll file into:

BepInEx/plugins/
