This is a lightweight version of the modpack for your dedicated server.

Updating This Modpack

Using r2modman from valheim.thunderstore.io ONLY UPDATE cjaycraft_ultimate_modpack -- This will also automatically update dependent mods that are SAFE to update.

Use r2modman to keep track of files that need updating and download dependencies.

Whether you want to drag/drop the files to your server directory or make them the same folder is up to you.

Install a fresh new server

I recommend these instructions if you don't know how to install a dedicated server. Even if you're playing on the same computer the server is running, it's still an acceptable option!

Server start script

Need a start script?

Create a file named "start.bat" in your server folder.

Paste this code in the file, and change the last line.

How to find your world files and name

• Go to windows -> Run
• Type %appdata%, Enter
• Go up 1 directory, and find LocalLow folder
• Then navigate to --> IronGate > Valheim > worlds
• Your world saves are put in this 'worlds' folder

Server Seed

Need a good seed? I can recommend this one! You start on an island surrounded by ocean, and have to take a boat to reach the 1st boss. The spacing between landmarks, bosses, rivers, and continents is great!

2.1.0 - BIG BALANCE update

HALDOR: MERCHANT TRADER:

[Secret Stash]

• Removed Essence purchases using Coins.

[Legendary Gear (6-proc enchants)]

• Greatly reduced the prices of all (gamble) items, because the value isn't in the enchant itself. Augmenting cost far more Coin than an enchant. The value is in the guaranteed 6-proc enchant. So while the prices were reduced, they're still not cheap.

[Treasure Maps]

• Increased rewards (enchanting mats + [Items if T1~5] + [Food if T6~8]

[Bounty]

• Now the only GUARANTEED way to get Runestones. (Completing bounties and turning in the tokens for Runestones from the Secret Stash.

[Item Trading]

• Added Serpent Scale as a sellable item to Haldor, Merchant Trader

• Removed Megingjord as sellable item so you don't accidently sell it.

• Can now sell Carrot Soup for profit to Haldor the Merchant Trader

• 99% of foods now sell for 2x their market value to encourage Cooking as a way to make Coins

LOOT DROPS:

• Removed Runestone drops from creatures and bosses, because it's easy to get Runes from recycling and to encourage people to use Bounties to get Runestones. This gives you something to do!

• Balanced all the magic part drops from creatures, because the enchanting costs changed with the latest Epic Valheim update. Their system is great, so I just needed to tweak the drops to compliment their system, but also increase the drops of Essences!

• Due to the extreme difficulty of killing Lox for their pelts, the drop rate has been significantly increased. 100% chance to get 1-2 pelts, and then chance for additional pelts depending on star level difficulty.

PASSIVE AND ACTIVE BUFFS:

Powers timer changed: (ability has been buffed)

• Active Power = 2 minute buff
• Power Loss Duration After Active Power = 2 minutes
• Active Power Cooldown = 15 minutes

WEAPONS AND ARMOR AND CRAFTING:

• Buffed damage of Black metal Bow

• Extremely increased the explore radius of the Explore enchant on armor, to encourage you to make an exploration set of gear. Otherwise, people are always going to pick damage over anything else.

• Increased crafting speeds by 25%, less waiting if you're making large stacks of items.

ENCHANTING:

• Added recipes to make all 4 magic types from shards (made from trophies). Another use for trophies.

• Reduced conversion recipe cost for Runes to other types of magic by 10 coins to 1 coin.

• Reduced crafting cost to convert Shards from Trophies into magic parts (down to 2 shards from previously 4)

RAIDS:

• Removed these Raids from occurring in Ocean biomes because they can't really do anything in the water.

MISC:

• Increased pickup range of Item Drawers from 5 to 10 to support larger base rooms with lots of storage.

• Removed horses because I couldn't override the star levels. The horses are only rideable if no star levels, but the likelihood of that occurring is very small. The horses turned out quite difficult and not fluid to ride around, so it was just easier to remove the mod. Plus, we don't have to cry anymore for killing horses LoL.

• Removed cooking skill because it causes food not to stack, which more annoying than helpful. There is still the other cooking skill called Gore-mand.
