Changelog

1.2.0

  • The F9 key is gone: ordering is now a button in the F7 HUD, "Order chests", at the right of the tab bar (so it is one click away from both tabs). It does what F9 did: puts the items of the chests around you and of your inventory in category order, then alphabetically. The result also shows in the HUD's footer.
  • The option OrderKey was removed (an old OrderKey line in the .cfg is ignored). OrderChests and OrderPlayerInventory are still there.

1.1.0

  • F9 puts the items of the chests around you and of your inventory in category order, then alphabetically, so equal items sit next to each other (best quality first). It only changes slots inside each inventory.
  • Locked (middle-click), equipped, quest items and the hotbar keep their slots.
  • New options: OrderKey, OrderChests, OrderPlayerInventory.
  • The category list is shared with the other players of the world who have the mod: it is stored in the world (a global key with a value, so a server without the mod keeps it), a joining player gets it and a change by anyone reaches the others once they close the HUD (at most a minute later if they leave it open): it is published in batches because the game keeps every revision of a world key in each connected player's character file. The HUD footer shows Shared (vN). Your own list is kept as .before-shared-<date> (last five) each time a different world list replaces it. New option: ShareCategories (on by default).

1.0.0

First release.

  • Chest categories stored in the chest's own data; 19 built-in categories, fully editable.
  • F7 HUD in Valheim's style: choose a chest's category, create / rename / recolour categories, assign items from a searchable list of every item in the game.
  • F8 sorts your inventory and the chests around you; moves are done with the game's own item-move call and the inventory-changed handlers run once at the end, so large sorts do not freeze the game.
  • Middle-click an inventory item to lock it from F8 (padlock on the slot).
  • Strict chests: a chest with a category refuses items of other categories when dropped in by hand.
  • Spanish and English texts.
