# Dangerous Enemies BIG Edition

This mod introduces some unpredictability to enemy combat behavior. It does this by randomizing attack intervals and animation speeds.

## Main Features:

Randomizes enemy combat behavior by:

  • Changing the interval of specific enemy melee attacks (i.e. Troll's Vertical Log/Trunk Swing) each time this attack is done to a new value between a max. and min. number you set.
  • Changing the animation speed of a section (initial part) of certain enemy attack animations by multiplying it by a value between a max. and min. number you set. This value is randomly chosen every new attack. You control this through the following variables:
    • Max. animation speed multiplier = the max. possible factor by which the animation speed is multiplied (ceiling)
    • Min. animation speed multiplier = the min. possible factor by which the animation speed is multiplied (floor)
    • Base duration of animation speed multiplier = the time during which the speed multiplier is active (this value changes depending on the value the speed multiplier is given during every attack).

## Additional Features:

  • Troll projectile (rock throw) is now far more dangerous
  • Area covered by Abomination AOE attack is enlarged slightly
  • Serpents attack more often
  • Changes to each individual enemy can be turned on or off
  • Should be server-friendly, each member will need the mod installed (attack intervals are controlled by server-host, animations are not, I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS)

## Tips:

  • If you want to play around with the configurable values I highly recommend you check these in a test world by spawning in the enemy in question. Then trial-and-error your way to a configuration that suits you.
  • I have tested each enemy on a solo world. The preset configuration is well balanced to my mind.
  • I have found it usually requires a game restart to have the new configuration take effect.
