Collection
Each character remembers every piece of gear that passes through its inventory, even after it is sold or lost.
- Only looks that fit your item are shown.
- Search by name. Click a look's star (or right-click it) to favorite it; Favorites only shows just those.
- Show locked lists monster looks and effects you don't have yet, with what unlocks them.
- Show Enemy Gear off hides all monster looks.
Particle effects
Weapons can wear the effects of weapons you have collected, such as Frost fire or Blood lightning.
- Choosing a look also picks its effect. For another one, drag a weapon onto Particles or click its Collection.
- Original particles keeps your item's own effect, No particles removes it, Clear choice goes back to the look's.
Names
Name any gear in your inventory, with or without a look: type in the Name box and press Enter. Tick Look's name to use the look's name; Reset gives back the item's own. Names stay with the item, upgrades included. A colored name (or diamond) means the item wears an illusion.

Monster projectiles
- A bow wearing the Charred bow shoots Charred Marksman arrows (elemental arrows keep their effects).
- A Staff of Embers wearing a Fuling shaman staff shoots the shaman's fireball and explosion.
Only the look changes; damage stays the real item's.
Particle fade and inertia
Effects on held weapons and torches react to how fast the weapon moves:
- Fade: particles fade sooner while the weapon moves fast, so trails are shorter.
- Inertia: particles keep part of the weapon's motion instead of stopping dead.
Each has a slider for attacks and one for everything else. Lightning effects and the Toxic cloud are never changed.
Also
- Armor stands, dropped gear and thrown spears show illusions.
- Epic Loot magic items keep their names and enchantments. Use the Marker indicator to keep rarity colors.
