Opt-in shared exploration with lighter fog and server-synchronized green public markers.SharedMap
Share explored areas and green public map markers with other players.
- Sharing: Enable Share map with other players on the map. Off by default, with your choice remembered for each world and character.
- Public markers: Select a green icon and double-click the map to place one. Left-click a marker to cross it out or undo the cross. Right-click to delete.
- Permissions: Anyone sharing can cross out markers. Only the owner's account or an administrator can delete them. You can manage your markers across your characters.
- Personal map: Shared exploration appears with lighter fog. Turning sharing off hides it and public markers without changing your own exploration, private markers, or normal cartography.
Limits are 200 public markers per account and 5,000 per world.
