Extra Food Slot

Adds a fourth active food slot to Valheim while keeping the vanilla food HUD style.

Features

• Raises the active food limit from 3 to 4.
• Adds a proper fourth HUD entry with food icon, remaining time and matching background.
• Keeps the original three food slots unchanged.
• Lightweight: no Jotunn or other gameplay framework required.
• Requires only BepInExPack for Valheim.

Compatibility

• Tested on Valheim 1.0.7 (network version 39).
• Built for the Valheim 1.0 HUD/layout.
• May conflict with other mods that change the food limit or replace/modify the food HUD.
• Multiplayer/dedicated-server behavior has not been formally tested yet.

Installation

Thunderstore Mod Manager / r2modman

Install the package normally. BepInEx is declared as a dependency and will be installed automatically if needed.

Manual installation

1. Install BepInExPack for Valheim.
2. Copy nick008extrafood.dll into Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/.
3. Start the game.

A full in-game screenshot is available from the author. Thunderstore README images must use an absolute public image URL; the supplied screenshot can be added here after it is uploaded to a public image host or repository.

Notes

The mod was created specifically to restore a simple four-food setup on the Valheim 1.0 release without requiring a larger gameplay mod.
