Steam Input is recommended, look at the images at the bottom of the page to fix any issues regarding the left and right stick movement with steam input enabled.

Installation

Thunderstore / r2modman

Install the mod using your preferred Thunderstore-compatible mod manager.

Manual installation

Install BepInEx for Valheim.
Extract the .zip and place its plugins folder inside the steamapps/common/Valheim/BepInEx/ folder path.
Start Valheim.

Configuration

Controller bindings can be configured through the mod's in-game interface by pressing F8 (preferably in the pause screen, otherwise the mouse movement will interfere).

Compatibility

Client-side mod using BepInEx.

Notes

Steam Input can modify or replace controller inputs before Valheim receives them. If a physical controller button is detected as a different button, check your Steam Input layout as well.

Use the recommended Steam Input Joystick configuration from the preview screenhots to fix movement speed when walking diagonally (general issue with steam input in valheim, has nothing to do with the mod itself).
