A Recycle tab at crafting stations that takes crafted items apart into part of their materials. It works on its own with the game's interface and fits into SeneaL UI (Thunderstore · Nexus Mods · Hexium) when it is installed. No other mod is required.
- Without SeneaL UI a Recycle tab appears next to Craft and Upgrade in the game's crafting panel. With SeneaL UI (1.2.0 or newer) the add-on fills SeneaL UI's Recycle tab and its settings are in F7 → Add-ons.
- The tab lists the items you carry that have a recipe and shows what each gives back; items that cannot be recycled here say why (wrong station, station level too low, too few in the stack, magic item, nothing to give back).
- 50% of the materials come back by default, counting every quality level of the item and rounded down.
- By default an item is recycled only at the station it is crafted at, and a higher quality needs the station level it is crafted at. Worn items and raw materials are never listed, and by default neither are items on the hotbar or in quick slots; Epic Loot magic items show in their rarity colour.
- Optional: worn items give back less (by durability), at least 1 of each material, magic (Epic Loot) and enchanted (Valheim Enchantment System) items, skip locked cells (SeneaL UI).
- Settings are in
seneaL.valheim.ui.recycle.cfg([Recycle]for the player,[Server]for the server rules) and, with SeneaL UI, in F7 → Add-ons. - On a server the server decides how far these go: allowed or not, the most materials back, and whether each option is forced on or forbidden. The server needs SeneaL Recycle installed; without it recycling is off.
- With Valheim Recycle or Recycle N Reclaim installed the add-on steps aside: their recycling is used instead.
