My name is sx66627. Sometimes I write mods for games. It's like a hobby for me. Most often it's the game Valheim.

Description

Creates or modifies the valheim_Data/boot.config file to improve performance.

What it writes to the file:

gfx-enable-gfx-jobs=1
gfx-enable-native-gfx-jobs=1
scripting-runtime-version=latest
wait-for-native-debugger=0
vr-enabled=0
hdr-display-enabled=0
gc-max-time-slice=28 (Determines the number of threads of your processor and sets an equal value)

Values that were already in the file are not deleted! If there were already such records in the file, then their value is replaced.

Installation

Install BepInEx (if you have installed BepInEx for other mods like Valheim Plus you can skip this step).
Download the mod (ValheimMod_Bootconfig.zip) and unpack its contents into .../Valheim/BepInEx/plugins
Done

How it works

When you first load, the data will be written. After you restart the game, it will be applied.
