CiCi's Lidar Vision
Models and sprites made by Mark white knuckle, who can be found on Official White Knuckle Discord.
A Binding for White Knuckle. The world goes pitch black; you navigate by spraying dots from a handheld scanner.
What it does
Pick Lidar Vision in the Bindings panel on Fresh Game. The climbing sections render as black void. You start with a Lidar Scanner.
Hold to scan. Sprays a strip of dots that paint everything you look at. The dots persist as a memory of where you've scanned.
Click to switch orientation. Toggles the spray between a vertical column and a horizontal row. Vertical helps find ledges above and below; horizontal helps find doorways and side passages.
Dot colors:
- Cyan — distance gradient, bright cyan close, deep blue far.
- Red — enemies.
- Yellow — items.
- Purple — handholds.
Interlude rooms (vending, checkpoint hubs) stay lit so you can shop and rest. The climbing sections above and below the interlude stay dark.
Score multiplier: +100%. Leaderboards are off while any framework-loaded mod is active.
Save state
Your scanned dots persist within a run. Save & quit then continue, and the dot field comes back. New runs start fresh.
