CiCi's Pioneers Shotgun
A double-barrel shotgun for White Knuckle. First item-addition mod for the game.

Features
- Sawed-Off trinket pick: choose the trinket at run start — grants the shotgun + 2 shells
- Double-barrel: two shots before you need to reload
- Buckshot: 8 pellets per shot in a tight spread — lethal up close, weaker at range
- Custom shotgun shells: separate ammo item with its own 3D mesh + held sprite + red outline (it's lethal — keep an eye on it)
- Shells drop from kills: bloodbugs and barnacles killed with the shotgun have a 50% chance to drop 1–3 shells (2 most common) directly into your bag
- Hand-drawn pixel-art sprites for loaded, recoil, and empty states
- Custom sound effects for fire, dry-fire, reload, break-open, break-close, and pellet impacts
How to use
Pick the Sawed-Off trinket at the run-start picker. You'll spawn with the shotgun in your inventory + 2 shells. Reload by holding shells in inventory. Kill bloodbugs and barnacles with the shotgun to harvest more shells.

- Custom shotgun shells as a dedicated ammo item — own 3D mesh, own held + tumbling sprites, red outline (lethal cue)
- Shell drop loop: bloodbug + barnacle kills via shotgun roll for 1–3 shells (50% chance, triangular distribution favoring 2). Shells go straight to your bag — no falling-during-climb loss
- Sawed-Off trinket at run start (replaces auto-start inventory). Powered by CiCi's Trinket & Binding Framework
- New shotgun mesh + sprites for both world / inventory and first-person
- Save-compatible for both shotgun and shells
Fixed
- Shell ejection no longer hidden behind the gun body (overlay → world handoff)
Known issues
- Other Flier-class subclass mobs may not drop shells; only bloodbugs and barnacles for now
