Laki's Play Room

A climbing playground for WK Map Loader: explosive-rebar shafts, a precision course, a rebar jump track and a reaction game.

How to play: Play → CUSTOM → Laki's Play Room → Play.

Boom shafts

The impact blast of an explosive rebar pushes you far harder than throwing one, so here it is your launcher. Three shafts stand side by side, with walls 5, 10 and 15 m apart. Each has 3 floors, needing 2, 4 and 6 boom-bars. Blast yourself up between the walls; every floor has a doorway to a balcony where a red button refills your boom-bars. Each doorway's sill sticks out into the shaft, so if you fall you can grab the ledge of the floor below. Keep the push within about 30° of straight up - steeper angles lose a third of the height.

Precision course and rebar track

• Precision course: smooth steps tilted too steep to stand on - one boom-bar to launch off the platform and one per step.
• Rebar jump track: 3 gaps needing 2, 4 and 6 thrown rebars.

Glow wall (behind spawn)

Set it up at the computer: arrow keys on the desk, settings on the monitor.

• Map: Flat Wall, or Cylinder - a 20 m drum on its side that turns once every 15 s; jump to grab its holds.
• Single player or multiplayer (a wall each, one shared wall with a colour per player, or co-op).
• Button lifespan, light-up interval and round length.
• Power-ups float in front of the wall - fly through one: stamina, speed, air jumps, elastic limbs, grab anything.
• Press the red button on the stand in front of a wall to start (3, 2, 1, GO). Stats at the end.

Buttons

• Red = reset your inventory and get that stage's boom-bars / rebars. Yellow = Buddy (kept when you reset).
• Green pad = checkpoint - falling brings you back there. Blue = back to spawn.
• Godmode is on in this map - the blasts would hurt otherwise.
