Destructible Highlights

Adds configurable highlights for destructible Risk of Rain 2 scene objects.

Built for players who want important breakables to pop visually without turning every prop on the map into a beacon. Includes dedicated support for Siren's Call Alloy Worship Unit eggs.

Features

  • Highlights destructible eggs, crystals, explosives, pods, nests, and optional generic breakables.
  • Separate Sirens Call Eggs toggle for Siren's Call egg hunting.
  • Category filters so each destructible group can be tuned independently.
  • Risk of Options support with an in-game settings page and custom icon.
  • Color wheel, optional hex color override, brightness, and strength controls.
  • Broad scan and debug logging options for discovering missed destructibles.

Defaults

  • Default color: #7851A9
  • Default brightness: 2
  • Broad scan: off
  • Siren's Call eggs: on
  • Trees/plants and pots/urns: off by default to avoid noisy scenery highlights

Configuration

Config file:

BepInEx/config/com.cryptidlabs.destructiblehighlights.cfg

Main options:

  • Destructibles: master toggle.
  • Destructible Color: Risk of Options color wheel.
  • Destructible Color Hex Override: optional #RRGGBB or #RRGGBBAA.
  • Destructible Brightness: color brightness multiplier.
  • Destructible Strength: highlight strength.
  • Broad Destructible Scan: debug/discovery mode for missed destructibles.

Notes

If a specific destructible is missed, enable Debug Log Unmatched Health Object Names, visit the stage, then check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for object names to add to the matching filters.
