UniversalPause
The ultimate lazy-man pause mod for Risk of Rain 2. WHAT IT DO
Mouse on screen? Game stops.
Mouse goes away? Game unpauses.
That is literally it. You don't have to configure anything or press special buttons.
⚠️ THE TAB STAT SCREEN ACTUALLY WORKS NOW. I know the old version didn't and we all suffered, as a matter of fact the old version broke so hard after further testing, I had to ask my intern Gemini to rewrite the entire thing. In the end we opted for holding a gun to the Unity Engine's head. Now the TAB Scoreboard and the Dev Console freeze time too.
⚠️ LISTEN UP FOR MODDED MENUS (Like Aerolt): Some of these giant cheat screens are built weird and don't wake up the physical mouse pointer the exact millisecond they open. If you press your hotkey (like F1) and the game is still running, just tap TAB. The millisecond a pointer flashes on screen, time locks down completely.
WHY YOU WANT IT
Zero Brain Cells Required: Works out of the box on the Artifact of Command, Scrappers, and 3D Printers. No more panic-picking.
Works on Crazy Modded Cheat Screens: If it has a cursor, it gets paused.
Anti-Snipe Buffer: It waits exactly 3 frames before unpausing so the game engine can wipe its own ass and you don't instantly get clapped by a Golem the millisecond you close a menu, I'm assuming you're a frameperfect parrier so bear with me, 3 frames is more than enough.
