Ninja

Ninja is a high risk & high input class with a high skill ceiling.

He has some of the highest burst dmg but requires mastery of his toolset to unleash his true potential. You need high awareness of your surroundings, enemies and their attacks with Shadows Parry, mastering this is your biggest strength. Burst cancels. Target prioritization with precision aim for his Execute resets and effective use of his Deception.

Backstory

No one made a Ninja. So I had to be the one.

With barely any experience in C# and unity or blender. Painstakingly.. Enter Ninja. 2 Months of dedicated work alone and hitting many walls during, seemingly impossible at times.. This is a passion project for me and i have fulfilled what i had set out in plan at the start, so i am satisfied with the result.

Future Plans

-Gather feedback for balancing if needed, I havent stress tested him with every item (mostly without as a masochist). -Adjustments. -VR support is one of my goals also

Known Issues

If idle for between 1-2s then moving, you will keep that idle animation for the next second(idle to moving issue). This bug is avoided by jumping or attacking to force animate if you want.

Updates

1.1.2

  Ninja is now playable. Overdue bugfixes. Balance tuning. QOL and features.
  
     Fixes/Changes:
-(no more stuck in cloak bug..) 
-Nerfs and adjustments. Now requires full use of his kit as intended.
-Deception Uppercut radius decreased (meant for single target mostly).
-Deflect Radius Increase
-Dash improvements, is even more responsive!
-Dash range end hit resets secondary(which resets primary while cloaked, for even more input rewarding dash cancels with extra tech)
-Ninja occasionally cloaks allies nearby

     Additions.
-New Effects.
-New Elemental Stab transformation for secondary while deception is active.
-New Keyword tokens for better understanding of skills and description improvements.
-Alt dash and deflect skills(experimental)
-Sword hits reduce cds by .4s

     Known issues:
Cloak green visual overlay may sometimes not appear.
Cannot select other skills after quitting to main menu. (Restarting fixes this)
Dash rarely may clip through walls & slam targets.
