TF2 Medic Mod
Adds the Medic from TF2, prepped for his "medical" work.
Overview
The Medic is supportive survivor that can deal damage, grant healing, and mitigate attacks as the situation demands.
About
This mod is a work in progress! My experience with the mod creation process is very limited, so expect jank. This especially applies to networking, so multiplayer may not function as intended.
Something weird or unexpected happen? Did a bug I thought I fixed just pop up? Have some feedback regarding balance, ideas, or general questions? Feel free to contact and tell me!
To Do:
- Add more weapons
- Add more skins
- Pretty up some of the animations
- Figure out a way to recreate TF2's medibeam, instead of the RoR2 green one
- Make the Uber texture look better
- Figure out how to get the audio levels right for once
Known Issues:
- Medibeam originates from Medic's body, not his Medigun.
- Non-host Medibeam targetting can be finicky in multiplayer.
- The Projectile Shield "lags" for clients in multiplayer. The lag itself is probably not treatable, but the visuals can probably be tweaked to look a bit better.
- The Projectile Shield blocks all hitscan incoming attacks in a small circle around Medic, not just frontal incoming ones. This includes friendly ones from far enough behind him.
