Adventurous Skin for Sonic the Hedgehog

This Risk of Rain 2 mod adds a new skin for ds_gaming's Sonic the Hedgehog survivor. The skin uses an edited version of Sonic's model from the aforementioned mod with changes that take certain cues from his design in the GameCube rereleases of the Sonic Adventure games.
A friend of mine got me into this game and before long I was made aware of the modding scene. I found the Sonic mod and had a blast with it, but I've always been picky about Sonic's character design. There's an intensity to him in the GameCube-era designs and the old renders that you don't really see anymore.
I know a lot of people prefer the character model from the first Adventure game but that one's not so much to my taste.
Features
The majority of these only apply when the Adventurous skin is equipped.
- Adventure-themed skin (GameCube-era) for Sonic, including super form.
- Custom portrait shown in survivor select screen, scoreboard, etc.
- Either the custom portrait or Sonic's default portrait is shown depending on context (e.g. players with the skin equipped show in the scoreboard with this mod's portrait).
- Sound replacements (requirees R2API Sound).
- Certain animations adjusted to more closely resemble the Adventure games.
- Optional ball-shaped mesh replacement and custom effect when jumping and when performing Homing Attack or Grand Slam.
- Configuration file.
Co-Op
These features should work in co-op. Some friends and I have tested under the following circumstances:
- Sonic and other survivors.
- Multiple Sonics, all with the Adventurous skin.
- Multiple Sonics, some with the Adventurous skin and others with the Default skin.
Resources Used
- Sonic rig and mesh plus textures from ds_gaming's Sonic mod.
- Sonic Adventure 2 sounds from The Sounds Resource: SFX ripped by piplupfan77.
- RoRSkinBuilder was used at first to create the skin, but at some point as the mod expanded in scale I split it off from RoRSkinBuilder and redid the code. The tool's output was a useful reference.
- Wwise 20.23.1.4.8496 for creating soundbanks.
- ShaderSwapper and RoR2StubbedShaders for applying the desired shader to the new materials. This is the only way I could get the dithering effect (where the character starts to disappear into these little dots whenever the camera gets too close) to work.
