Lunars of Exiguity

A small content mod that focuses on enhancing, and overhauling all of the Risk of Rain 2 Lunar items as well as creating a new tier called Purified to mirror these new Lunars and adding more content towards the Cleansing Pool.

This mod is highly configurable! Except Lunar / Purified anti-stacking

Lunar Changes

A significant change with this mod is that Lunars no longer have the ability to stack, and are purely focused on drastically changing the playstyle of a single Lunar. This anti-stacking feature also should work with other Lunar items from other mods, however, those items will still retain their stacking item information.

Purified Tier

Purified items also follow suit and do not stack. Purified items are also heavily inspired off of the perspective of Providence, as similar as Lunars are usually from Mithrix. Purified items also Fracture their Lunar counterpart, essentially destroying the Lunar.

Lunar Reworks

The following are only the pickup descriptions of the items.

Icon Item Description Note
Relic of the Drowned Equipments no longer use charge... BUT activating your Equipment disables all skills temporarily. Fuel Cells reduces the downside timer.
Relic of Focus Teleporter charges faster... BUT all enemies are invincible, until after the event, taking damage instead. Probably the hardest Lunar item.
Relic of Greed You can buy everything... BUT you can go into debt, increasing damage taken. Money goes negative properly.
Relic of Fatigue Add several charges to all of your skills, and reduce all skill cooldowns... BUT attack slower with every charge missing. N/A
Relic of Acromegaly Taking damage causes you to grow, increasing armor and reducing speed. Realistically reduces speed up to 99.9%, instead of 100%.
Relic of Purity Increase ALL of your stats, and skills have NO cooldowns... BUT you have no proc-coefficients. Crit can no longer activate, and ignores the hidden 0.5s cooldown.
Relic of Glass Take permanent damage. Increase damage for permanent damage taken. 1:1 ratio of damage into permanent.

Misc Tweaks

  • Cleansing Pool
    - Spawns Every 5 Stages Guaranteed, can't spawn otherwise. (Stage 5 by Default)
    - Non-Vanilla Lunars turn into regular Pearls / Iridescent Pearls. (20% Iridescent by Default)
    - Usable Once per Stage (Enabled by Default)
    - Subtle Activation Effect

  • Relic of Greed's debt is now handled way more efficiently, and no longer causes other modded money items to not be extremely overpowered
  • Relic of Greed now turns your money red to have a more obvious indicator
  • Relic of Greed also changes the damage number color to also indicate taking more damage

  • Fixed Relic of Focus not properly dealing damage sometimes
  • Fixed Relic of Focus disabling an important variable that others use, notably Abstracted Locus from BubbetsItems
  • Temporarily blacklisted Egocentrism from being Fractured for the time being
